a long post b4 a long break

sad lar. wont be going for class chalet n band chalet. the last time im probably even seeing my friends again is grad night! hmph!

been reading some blogs lately and i thought George's post really sums up my feelings for rj v well. kind of weird though that i cannot find anything to do after exams after all that has been said about the a levels torturing our poor minds. (shan't comment abt the papers, just felt that a lot of them were quite weird..) argh.

but before this becomes a post ranting about all that i'm displeased or unhappy about, i think i need to count my blessings for the two years in rj. it has been (and still is i feel) a big change from ri life but i've been very lucky to have made some v good friends here. thanks to them, they've made many unbearable moments in rj much more enjoyable and i'm glad i'll have memories of this years from now.

class outings (more the ones we had before A's), class pe's (also before A's), clique outings (like the one where we had Sakae Sushi, also dim sum courtesy of wy - i'm looking forward to a treat by cky n gyh nxt yr btw), even the class spirit exemplified by mugging together before each A level paper are some of the things i'll try to remember. Of course, there was my CCAs - many memories of which are a blur even now. Definitely i'll recall long hours at band pract, the numerous concerts, and more band pract. (why jc band slacker than sec sch arh?) I would consider chinese chess trainings to be enjoyable as well - just that i still can't get the hang of playing the game! grrr. yea and stamp soc was filled with weird occasions of trips to SPM (singapore philatelic museum) and the mad rush during RAYSE. hehe i think i did like 1000* more stuff in jc than in ri lolz.

rant (u'll feel sian after reading)
the photonics attachment seems a long time from now. after so many trips to ntu and obtaining such decent results, it seems like quite a waste now that we didn't go for any research competition and such. yea but then if i had to repeat my j2 year now i wouldn't change very much of it - a lot of the decisions made had to be made due the the circumstances then. like taking 2 s papers (i mean i was taking grade 8 piano pract in june and i ponned like all the maths s sessions - how could i have coped with the extra maths s? even now i think i would have screwed up my other papers more if i had maths s lor) yar just my personal opinion lar - shant dwell over this already.

okay right now i need to get a haircut for my absurdly long hair le. (need to get used to shorter hair anyways) yea and i'm looking forward to whatever in-flight entertainment they have on the plane i'm taking next haha. dunno what to expect in Shanghai. but i'm going with an open mind. take it as a well-deserved break after intensive mugging haha.

ok gotta go le. to end off this post, like to wish ppl taking bio and econs s paper the best of luck. (yh, zk, zx, jc, richard, and anyone else i know but missed out haha) ONLY 2 DAYS TO GO FOR YOU ALL! JIAYOU!!! :) :) :) :)
