when i have something to say, i blog :)

Its been - horrors of horrors - a month since I last blogged!
ok, i've thought a lot over the past month. and i think (or at least one of my thoughts is) that blogging does involve a certain amount of narcissistic exhibitionism.
So I take back my words from a post long long ago.

WELL. just to update ppl, i'm *cough!* quite happy in sispec. YAY! suffice to say that life is definitely not as bad as what my sergeants in bmt told me. in fact life is arguably better, with greater freedom despite tougher training. yup. so life's not too bad :P

so far during the labour day break, i committed myself to reading. YUCK. what a boring enterprise you may think. but seriously i cant think of anything better to do with a flu and a sore throat.

I'm trying to kickstart a reading habit. and I think a good starting point would be to list out the books I've read already, just to familiarise myself with the stuff i'm interested in but forgot to follow up on. I borrowed a book called "the little guide to your well-read life" (which, I emphasise, is more interesting than it actually sounds). it dispenses advice on stuff like choosing books to read and how to make the most of books after you actually get them. And the idea of creating a bookography (the list of books you like) arose from here.
