For this post I shall adopt a chronological sequence based on the events that happened today.

okay the first thing (significant thing) we did in the morning was to present some GP politics thing. was forced to utter some incoherent stuff about the adv and disadv of communism and marxism.. dun want to think about it lol

Then later during recess we got to see our junior class and we actually started an "Angel and Mortals" game with them.. hmm wasnt too keen on it at first but under Daniel's persuation most of us agreed.. (except the scholars i think)

haha the idea of interacting with our junior class is quite meaningful i suppose.. our class is on the right track! coz many classes are doing it too!

After recess was the Bio test.. wasnt too difficult really.. mostly a -level questions so i guess i should do okay.. I wonder what happened to the RJ type questions? or maybe the teachers will be following a strciter marking scheme.. i think it would be interesting to see how we fare based on the normal a-level kind of qns.. hahaz

For pe we did the usual stuff of training pullups and abs. OUCH! i suspect my arms and abs will ache REAL bad tmr

after a photo session with the stamp soc ppl.. ERM i went quietly home for my piano lesson.
I am having great difficulty with prelude no. 8 by faure! Tried playing the grade 6 pieces i played last yr but realised i forgot like everything.. THEN i when i started playing some random songs frm the grade 6 bk i realised there were actually some NICE pieces tt i neglected to play! argh.. then now i have no time to play the piano for fun. STupid prelude!

on hindsight my current post looks very much like a rant. reminds me of a bk i once read....

new year, new discoveries

dear loyal readers (if any exist),
i am deeply apologetic about the lack of entries on my web blog. this is highly unacceptable to anyone interested enough to read about me, and is also very detrimental to the traffic to my blog. *sigh* so once again, i apologise and i will try my best to update my blog more regularly..

New year, new discoveries. I am J2 this year but i feel like im still a J1. There doesnt seem to be much of a difference from last year.. the neverending tutorials, lessons and lectures.. the daily grind goes on... Hah! but there IS a difference, dear friends.. coz while last year we had seniors, this yr we have JUNIORS. YAY! somehow i think this is a gd thing. not that i don't miss my seniors but somehow i think juniors are more interesting. Or at least this is my opinion for now..

For band we currently have 8 flute J1s.. if u dun get the significance of this.. it means that we are now officially the largest section in rjcsb! haha even mr oura said we were too loud. our total numbers are 16, (which is still slightly less than what we had at the beginning of last year) but more than enough to cause a racket or to drive anyone deaf! i hope the j1s will like band and stay.. coz i think they are generally quite nice from the look of things..

and i shall round up this entry with a list of homework (if u hate hw, this is one more reason u shldnt visit):

  • applications of differentiation tutorial III (curve sketching) [which, i might add, is rather horrible and tedious]
  • physics stationary waves n perhaps interference tutorial
  • chemistry alkanes (and alkenes) tutorial
  • biology ecology tutorial

haha there are more but i dont think my tutors will go through them so soon. For now, that's all folks!

CODA n MORE

CODA
It's finally over! Woo! Hahaha. It was a gd performance, by both the RWINDS (and ESPECIALLY the alumni) and RJCSB. Pity the concert hall wasnt filled though. Ppl really missed out on a good concert. But nvm, there's always A Tempo next year =)

OKay, boring stuff
Today was sth like family day. Haha the whole family went out together! Quite a kewl day but somewhat ruined by a DVD rom...

In the morning, we went to have breakfast out at Killiney Kopitiam. Then, my father went to work, while my mom, my SPASTIC sis (she wants me to call tt) and me went to the botanic gardens. Then, the sis had to leave early for some basses chalet... HAH! oh well.. she missed out on quite a bit, coz we had jap for lunch, went funan to buy stuff, then went for an gym session.

Up till this part it was quite fun, but here comes the dumb part.. bought this game (Civ 4) thinking that we could upgrade the com later to suit its stupid sys requirements. Yea so on i go happily home, saving the game until after dinner to play.. THEN comes the horror! Erm. When i inserted the disc into my com drive... there was NO RESPONSE. the msg was.. insert cd into the drive.. then it shook me.. the game is a DVD rom, and although my com has two CD Drives (one CD player and one CD RW), IT HAS NO DVD DRIVE! OMG! n i didnt know abt this, so im stuck with an expensive unplayable cd together with a thick user manual that isnt any use to me except to make me feel like an idiot!

Maybe i can use this excuse to ask dad for a new com? MUahahahaha....
