ok v hard to describe how fun it was. BUT it really was fun! n the weather was great (sunny in the morning while we were biking, pouring and windy when we were having lunch at a sheltered "restaurant", and finally sunny again when we set off on our way for the afternoon expedition.) WAH zk kept saying the fine weather was due to his great planning.. i'm sure man!
well the best part i liked about the trip was how rewarding it was to sweat it out climbing up nv-ending slopes and finally enjoy like 30s of downhill journey with the cool wind rushing past my face. Yup after that i felt thoroughly refreshed, like all the effort i put in was all worth it! Yup, so that was certainly a highlight of the trip.
i guess others might say that the 'hearts' session after lunch was fun as well, yea n i agree too. i was a n00b and played until i had 99 pts - then the game ended coz yh reached 100! kudos to zk for saving me once and again!

yea after one day of biking we went for dinner at Changi. tired but happy :)
cost for the trip (which zk said would cost $10):
- $4 for to-and fro boat trip to ubin
- $4.20 for lunch - seafood hor fun! and chrysanthemum tea drink
- $4 for renting a bike for the whole day!
- $5.10 for dinner - fried hokkien mee, pineapple drink n chin chow!
- $1.60 for bus trip to and fro to jetty
haha not exactly a bargain.. i think the $4 for renting the bike was most worth it lor! yup but it all added up to a day well spent (:
anyone game for another expedition?
